CHÂTEAU DE CHAMPLATREUX
This 18th-century castle is today the residence of the Duc Nouailles, one of the oldest family in France. You can have the privilege to be received by the Duc in this exceptionnaly castle for your event.
This castle, an architectural marvel in the classical style, is an ideal venue for weddings, film shoots, and photo sessions ! This estate stands out for its elegance and symmetry. It features two majestic vestibules of 55 and 70 square meters, adorned with stone walls, imposing columns, and marble-tiled floors. Four magnificent salons are also present, decorated with period woodwork, Versailles parquet flooring, and 6-meter-high ceilings. The upper floors house about ten bedrooms, a billiard room on the first floor, and an English-style smoking room on the second floor.
The private area on the ground floor includes a large living room, a library, two dining rooms, and a small boudoir. The castle is surrounded by both French and English-style gardens, with sandy and paved paths, a pond, and a fifty-hectare wooded park. The grand stables, designed in a "U" shape, include carved wooden stalls, a tack room, a carriage house, and water troughs. An 18th-century chapel is also located within the park.
